Peter Cottontail?

There were a number of rabbits outside the rig this morning when I took Emma for her first outs, but I don't think Peter was one of them!  I didn't find any colored eggs or other goodies hidden around the area, other than some raisin looking deposits.  :)

I did my laundry and other normal Sunday morning chores.  Around 1:00, Emma and I headed over to John and Lynn's site.  They had invited me to share an Easter dinner with them.  The weather cooperated, and we were able to eat a scrumptious meal outside at their picnic table.  We talked and laughed a lot while we ate.  They are very productive volunteers for the refuge.  They have done a lot of remodeling work here at the Flying X and in the various offices at headquarters.  They will be returning again next year, as they really like being here.

That's about the extent of my activities for this Easter Sunday.  Hope you all had an enjoyable day as well.

Thanks for stopping by....talk to you later,  Judy

  1. We don't really "celebrate" Easter, but we did have a nice roast lamb dinner and an extra vegetable.

It was rainy all day and we had a fire going in the living room. Seemed more like winter weather than spring!
