Well, I’m spending my second night in Elizabethtown, KY. I’ve only got 280 miles to go to reach my destination, but I’m not sure when I’ll get there. I just couldn’t move on this morning. That lousy fever that I had about a week and a half ago has returned with a vengeance. When I get to Indiana, I guess I’m going to have to break down and go to a doctor if things don’t take a dramatic turn for the better. Ugh! Being sick again stinks. Spent most of the day reclining on the couch, and bundled up.
There’s not much more to report. If I’m feeling a little stronger tomorrow, I’ll at least get through Louisville, and into Indiana.
Thanks for stopping by….talk to you later, Judy
Maybe a Doc visit in Elizabethtown would be a plan....It's no fun to travel when you are sick..As I tell McGuyver...they have Doctors everywhere!!! Hunker down and get better!!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you will be feeling better but it's probably best to see a doctor. Your health is your most valuable possession, look after it!
ReplyDeleteGet to the doc and see whats up with what ever bug you got and get some meds for it.
ReplyDeleteYour body is fighting an infection. I'm not a big fan of doctors offices, but I think you need to get this checked out.
ReplyDeleteFevers are not something to mess with if they keep returning. Please get to the doc and take care of yourself Judy.
ReplyDeleteYep, I am pretty stubborn about going to the doc, as I always think it will get better. But, sometimes it's worth the trip just to be able to solve the mystery and quit worrying.
ReplyDeleteSee a doctor Judy, your body is trying to tell you something!
ReplyDeleteDonna
Safe travels...and feel better!
ReplyDeleteas much as I hate to see the Doc if it hit you the second time it is time to go...
ReplyDeleteLike you, I want my body to fight whatever germs it meets, but once in a while I don't get well without antibiotics. Then I thank God I went to the doctor because I start to feel better almost right away. Going to the doc seems like a good plan for you this time.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon!
Hopefully tonite you are feeling better. Is it starve a cold, feed a fever??? Hope the new day brings a new you!!
ReplyDeleteThe last time I left a fever to just 'go away on it's own', I wound up in the hospital.
ReplyDeleteDon't mess around, see a doc sooner then later!!
I agree with what everyone has sad -- it's time to see a doc! Take care & feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with all those who said to see a doctor in E-Town. It may be something entirely different than what you may think it is, and since it's come back so soon I hope you see a doctor ASAP!
ReplyDeletetake care of youself Judy!!..a doctor visit should be in the plan for tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteJudy - I think you get the point... better safe than sorry - if you have an infection that only antibiotics will help, why wait? Find a Minute Clinic (CVS) or Urgent Care center - the $50 will be worth it! Keep us posted, and please take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteWell, we've all heard the saying....'The Writings On The Wall.' In your case Judy....
ReplyDelete'The Writings In Your Comment Section.' You know what you gotta do.........
When you go to the doctor be sure to tell him what you do and where you have been. Have you had any tick bites? Mosquitoes can carry stuff too.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
I hope you feel better soon, Judy.
ReplyDeleteJUDY, DON'T MAKE ME COME OVER THERE!!! YOU GET TO A DOCTOR NOW!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon, but I'm with all the others who have already said it ... go to the doctor now ... no sense in letting this drag on and bring your strength down further.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've gotten some really good advice!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself!!
There's something going on Judy--get thyself to a doctor!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else. It's not just a cold but a fever. Go to the doctor NOW!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon, but I am with the rest. You need to get to a Doctor, sooner rather than later. Take care of yourself first... :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you are sick. Take care of yourself and get better!
ReplyDeleteI am a charter member of the "I hate doctors club" but I have come to accept that it is better to suck it up and go than not.
ReplyDeleteCheck out a local urgent care place. We have found them to be good and maybe will make you feel a lot better-a lot quicker.
Thinking about ya and sending our hopes that you feel better too. A
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better now. I tried to go to the doctor today when we went to town, but all of the doctors in town were in a meeting. The very "nice" lady at the desk in the clinic told me I was welcome to go to the emergency room. Since I don't have insurance, I don't think so, not for a cough. Whoever called that meeting should have left one doctor at that clinic.
