Getting ready to move again

It always amazes me how much stuff I have to pack up after only being here a week!  Stuff like the toaster, carving knife set, outside chair and table, the DISH, the Wilson trucker’s antenna, the spare propane tank, and a half a dozen other things inside the rig.  It takes the better part of a day.

So, my only excursion today was to go back to the vegetable stand to stock up on a few more home grown tomatoes.  Sorry to say, when I got there, they had just sold their last tomato of the day.  That meant I had to search out another stand since I have no idea if I’ll be able to get any in Oregon, and I just have to take advantage of this tomato bonanza.  :)

I called the next campground I’ll be going to since their website suggested making reservations.  I’ll be heading to Crystal Crane Hot Springs park.  It’s not too far from Malheur NWR, so I’ll spend two nights there because I want to arrive at Malheur on Wednesday.  I plugged their address into the GPS, and it says it’s only 134 miles away, but when I look on the map it adds up to closer to 200 by my calculations.  We’ll see who’s right, me or the Australian chap in the box.  :)

I’ve decided to leave the dismantling of the antenna until the morning so I have internet tonight to entertain myself.  I’ve packed a lunch for tomorrow, so all I’ll do in the morning besides the antenna is unhook the water and power, and hook up the car.  I dumped the tanks this afternoon, so that’s taken care of.  After tomorrow’s drive, I’m hoping to relax in the hot springs.  :)

Thanks for stopping by….talk to you later,  Judy

  7. A tomato bonanza! I like that & I'll pass that along to Dave since he really likes tomatoes, especially the ones we find in roadside produce stands. RE: our sign, you could always get one like ours that does not have our names on it, even if it said "our cabin" or "our" whatever, the "our" is you and Emma! Have a safe journey and enjoy the hot springs, just don't stay in them tooooo long! My Dad and I did that once. Whew!
