Today was a day to just enjoy kids and grand kids. I played games with the grandsons, soothed my newest granddaughter, went to John Hardy's BBQ for a Mother's Day dinner, and just had a good time all day long.
I'm thinking I may pick some rhubarb at the far side of my son's yard to make rhubarb sauce. I haven't had that in years, and I'm sure my grandsons have never tasted it. I'm looking forward to doing some cooking while I am here and have access to a full kitchen. I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be any objections to me taking over the kitchen for some evening meals this month. :) My head is swirling with possibilities.
Not much else to report for today.
Thanks for stopping by....talk to you later, Judy

I love rhubarb, I made a pie last week, only problem with that is I have to eat it all!

Rhubarb always makes me think of spring and being a little kid. We had a rhubarb crisp just a few weeks ago and it somehow seemed wrong to buy the stalks. It's something that should be growing in the backyard!
