A brief note

I was ready to roll this morning, but Mother Nature had her way.  It was raining when I awoke, and the forecast was for possible severe storms all day in my area of Georgia.  I checked the forecast for where I was headed in Tennessee, and the storms there were predicted to arrive in the early afternoon.  So being retired with no reason to tempt fate, I sat still and signed up for one more night here.  Of course, once I did that the storms abated and eventually the sun came out.

I’ll give it another go tomorrow.  I could have left in the early afternoon, but I’m a morning driver and prefer not to arrive at my destination in the evening.  I truly enjoy having that option.

Thanks for stopping by… talk to you later,  Judy

  1. Sometimes you need an extra day once in a while to do nothing. Safe travels tomorrow.

  4. I've stayed put several times when there were storms or high wind warning. No reason to drive in that.

  5. It has been pouring here in Oregon. We leave to go farther up the coast tomorrow morning. It is going to rain all week, so we are going to just have to move on up slowly. Safe travels.

  7. We had the most rain we've had in at least 8 weeks today and my housemate and I decided we didn't need to go to town after all. But I got to go to bed and drowse and read, my favorite rainy day occupation.

    Happy Trails.
