When it rains it pours!

  Welp my mom seems like she has made the turn, (golf reference, seeing as yesterday was the British Open) but put one in the bunker.  Her laptop broke down yesterday and we should receive her new one tomorrow.  After I get that all set up she will leave my place on Wednesday and maybe that night or Thursday you will get a post from the real Travels with Emma curator.  Hope everyone is having a nice day!

    The "good" part is that she was with her computer curator who could get her back up and running again. You know... silver linings or rainbows or whatever. Hope all is well soon.

    Judy, I hope you are feeling better. I hope you are not getting a laptop with Windows 8 on it, my daughter has a new laptop and it is very different from Windows 7.

    So glad to get these updates from you Dan. Your mom is lucky to have you to care for her and since her laptop had to add insult to injury, to get it all set up for her so we can get those glorious photos to look at. Are you for rent? I could use a son who is so multi-talented.

    So happy she is better what a way to have a family get together. She had been so excited about this trip. And yes to add insult to injury a bad computer to boot.

    Well, good grief, this has been quite a long time. I'm sure glad Judy has made the turn to feeling a little better, she must be so happy about that. Double bummer about her computer - I just went through that, and it's a pain, very time-consuming to re-do a new computer. I have to admit I DO enjoy it, though - I hope Judy will, too.
