Nice to see the foliage & berry bushes coloring up down your way. Still mostly gray & drab here. Have had to use some 2010 file pics for the blog because our Spring is so far behind this year. Example was that Rose Breasted Grosbeak that you rightly figured was a bit too early for these parts. Should have included the words 'file photo' with that pic. Sounds like you might have just had a 'crink' in your neck from sleeping at an odd angle or something.Al Bossencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04307619781955351484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7774004683471521654.post-86070759602379721842011-04-19T22:55:28.282-05:002011-04-19T22:55:28.282-05:00I just noticed your counter and you almost have 10...I just noticed your counter and you almost have 100,000 hits. We had just moved into a house with large, west facing windows, when a large flock of Cedar Waxwings came thru the area late in the afternoon. Unfortunately the windows reflected the sky in a way that the birds could not see it.

Many birds flew into the windows. Fortunately most were only stunned.

We lived there for four years. We saw other migrating flocks, but never had a repeat of that day. I think the sun and the light was just wrong for them that year.Merikayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05378095339747943548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7774004683471521654.post-89186282463506778292011-04-19T21:23:09.052-05:002011-04-19T21:23:09.052-05:00Love Cedar Waxwings, they are such elegant birds. ...Love Cedar Waxwings, they are such elegant birds.
